Please note that prices on all litters are $1,550 pet and $2,250 breed quality, except Pica - her pups are $1,500 pet and $2,000 breed quality. Show quality pups are priced $1,000 over the price of the breed quality pups from any given litter.

If you would like to be put on the list for a puppy, visit our page Contracts, etc. and you can print off and mail in the Pre-adoption Application for Puppies along with deposit or prepayment . From the time the breeding takes place, count approximately four months to the date that the pups will be ready for homes.

Deposits and Prepayments: To reserve a space on our puppy list, a $500 deposit is required. To secure a pick puppy position for a certain litter, prepayments (full price) must be received. As demand is usually greater than supply and our litters tend to sell out, we recommend you reserve or secure a puppy early, this is especially true of breed and show quality pups as the supply of these pups is not as plentiful in any given litter. Final payment is due two weeks prior to the litter evaluation and puppies will be sent to their homes immediately after the litter evaluation.

Shipping and puppy pick up fees: Pups are shipped the week following the litter evaluation, which occurs at 8 weeks of age. Shipping fees are $250, plus actual airfare. The $250 fee covers an airline approved shipping crate (200 series kennel and shipping materials), an ISO compliant micro chip, first round of vaccinations and de-wormings, Veterinary health certificate, and transportation to airport. Puppy pick up fee is $100, which includes an ISO micro chip, de-wormings, and first round of vaccinations.

Taxes: Washington State sales tax of 8.9% is charged to pet quality pups, sold to residents living in Washington State.

BREEDINGS

Sassy, is a dual, smooth coated female, bred from Pica and Gunny at Solace in 2007. She is a higher drive girl with a fun loving attitude. She will be bred to Aslan this spring/summer. Sassy is stunning and intelligent and easily trained. Aslan's laid back demeaner should blend beautifully with Sassy. We expect stunning pups that train easily with nice structure. Pet quality pups are priced at $1,550 and breed quality pups are priced at $2,250.

Aslan

Hanna, is our sweet and gentle girl, who possesses a dry and quiet sense of humor. She she will be bred with Aslan this summer. Hanna has an athletic structure, with good leg and plenty of height behind her, built similarly to her full brother Gunny. Aslan comes from a long line of Champions and has excellent bone, and a charismatic friendly temperament. We expect to see nice sized pups with good conformation and pleasing temperaments come through in this litter. There will be a combination of plush and smooth coated pups, with wonderfully rich colors. Pet quality pups are priced at $1,550 and breed quality pups are priced at $2,250.

Aslan

Asia is our very tall and athletic girl and she will be bred to Aslan this summer. Asia never takes her eyes off you, she watches and observes everything about you and loves to be communicated with. We call her our thoroughbred girl because her lines are beautiful; you love to watch her move as she exudes grace and beauty. Aslan possesses heavy bone, a wonderfully broad head, beautiful conformation and rich dark coloring and comes from Champion lines. Together, in their progeny we should see some very showy, athletic pups with excellent structure and beautiful heads. These pups will be very fun and easy to work with and will possess beautiful, rich sable colors. There will be a combination of plush and smooth coated pups in this litter. Pet quality pups are priced at $1,550 and breed quality pups are priced at $2,250.

Aslan

Saber (III) is our submissively sweet girl, out of Saber (II) who came to Solace in 2003. Saber (II) has since been retired, but her progeny continues on (in Saber, Kappy and Asia). Saber will be bred with Aslan this summer. Saber reminds us so very much of her dam, in that she is very demonstrative with her love for you; whenever you come near her, her entire body happily moves and the wall makes a loud drumming sound as her tail whips back and forth. She also inherited her mother’s athleticism. Saber has beautiful conformation, great leg, and an incredibly sweet disposition. Combined with Aslan’s beautiful and broad head, great bone and charismatic personality, we should get pups with super bone, plenty of height, stunning heads and wonderful temperaments. These will be nice sized puppies, who will not only do well with their families, but many will also do very well in the show ring, as their relatives have.Pet quality pups are priced at $1,550 and breed quality pups are priced at $2,250.

Aslan

Kila is our "Punky Brewster" girl. She reminds me very much of that rough and tumbly kind of kid that is always happy and rolls with the punches. She is the girl that always hangs back when all the dogs go out to play, so that she can have you all to herself and get special lovin'. Kila will be bred with Gunny this summer and we expect some entertaining personalities whose goal in life is to be your best friend. Structurally, we expect nice broad heads on these pups, as Gunny has consistently passed on in his progeny. We will also get the athletic builds these lines produce. We will get a combination of plush and smooth coated pups from this breeding and an assortment of brown and grey sables. Pet quality pups are priced at $1,550 and breed quality pups are priced at $2,250.

Pica is the kind of girl that you just love to love on. She will follow you wherever you go and sits next to you whenever you stop. Pica absolutely adores children and she will follow them as well, watching over them and being their best friend. She even enjoys allowing little girls to dress her up in doll clothes. Pica is a big girl, with a lovely head, beautiful conformation; nice widely built structure, and super heavy bone. Pica is going to be bred with Aslan at the end of summer. Aslan comes with heavy bone, a wonderfully broad head, beautiful conformation and rich dark coloring. We expect some fantastic bone, good leg and beautiful broad heads on the pups, along with nicely laid back temperaments that love people and that will get along in any living environment. This will be an all plush litter. Pet quality pups are priced at $1,500 and breed quality pups are priced at $2,000.

Aslan

If you are interested in show quality, they are $1,000 over the price of breed quality in each litter.

STUDS we have used at Solace:

Aslan is a plush coated, golden sable. His most appealing feature is that big, broad sweet head and delightful personality. He loves all people and all dogs. When people come to Solace to see all the Shilohs, they love to get their photos taken with Aslan. Aslan came from Dayspring Dogs in Tennessee and Aslan possesses everything that is wonderful about his sire Tazer. Tazer produces some very laid back and sweet puppies and we expect Aslan to do the same for his progeny.

Gunny is a smooth coated, brown sable. He comes from lines with good size and structure. Gunny loves everyone he meets, both canine and human. He loves to please you and is very affectionate and outgoing. He has yet to meet a person he didn't think was born to be his friend.

Gryphyn is a plush coated, grey sable, who loves everyone, canine and human. He is a big boy who is very sweet natured and good with children.

Zeke is out of Gryphyn and Nieko and is a sweet, gentle giant. At eight months of age he was approaching the size of his sire, Gryphyn. He has a combination of the gentle, intelligent and willing to please personality of both Nieko and Gryphyn. At his first show, at seven and a half months old, he cleaned up in the ring and the judges loved him.

Mastro is a smooth coated, brown sable, who is incredibly intelligent and high drive. He will out think you, so you have to stay a step ahead of him, although once this boy learns something he never forgets it. He has a great sense of humor too.

Steiner is a plush coated, grey sable and is Gryphyn's younger brother. He is very outgoing and loves all dogs and people. He is very good natured and super fun loving.

Big Jake is a black, smooth coated Shiloh with exceptional movement and majestic beauty. He has a great temperament to match his nobel appearance.
