Welcome to Solace ISSR Shilohs.  We are registered exclusively with the ISSR (International Shiloh Shepherd Registry - the registry of the Breed Founder).  We are a small breeding facility and raise Shiloh Shepherds in our state of the art facility in Washington state.  We live in a rural residential neighborhood about 30 minutes north of  Seattle.  Click here to walk through our facility.  Our dogs are family raised and loved and an integral part of our family.  Our breeding facility is not your regular or even normal kennel.  Enjoy our website and learn what we are about and feel free to ask questions. 

Have you ever met a Shiloh Shepherd in person before?  They are a lot like the German Shepherds of days gone by - like Rin Tin Tin.  They have the intelligence of GSDs, but are softer in temperament and are larger in size, in both height and bone.  They are gentle giants that can intimidate an intruder that is unwelcome, while being incredibly careful and caring around a newborn.  

I have ten of these dogs that I raise around my seven year old son and they treat him with the same respect they give me.  Shilohs tend to respect that which is important to you and therefore they are very easy to train.  They have an intrinsic desire for you to be pleased with them and there is an intuitive quality about them.

At Solace Shilohs, we take breeding Shiloh Shepherds and raising puppies very seriously.  We also provide boarding for our clients and we offer apprenticeships for people interested in learning about breeding and/or kennel management.

What We Do

Solace Shilohs aim is to provide a healthy, stimulating environment for our Shilohs, both adult and pups.  We strive to provide excellent customer service to the families that entrust us to raise and/or take care of their family companions.

We welcome visitors to our facility, but we ask that you come in clean, fresh from dryer clothes and not be around any other animals or parks prior to visiting,  as we run a very sanitary and clean kennel for our pups.  If you get a pup from Solace Shilohs or board your dog here, you will appreciate our fastidiousness.
